District Judge Staci
Growing up in Dallas, I graduated from The Hockaday School. I attended Smith College in Massachusetts, where I graduated with a degree in Economics, and I received my law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. I eventually made my way back home to Dallas and have been serving my community in various capacities ever since.
Some of my civic responsibilities have included serving on the Board of Trustees for The Hockaday School, Board of Directors for Dispute Mediation Service, Inc., Board of Directors for S.A.A.V.E.D., Community Advisory Board for North Texas Volunteer Center, and as Chair/Co-Chair and/or member of various committees for the Dallas Bar Association and the J.L. Turner Legal Association. I have been a member of the Dallas Chapter of The Links, Inc. and the Junior League of Dallas.
My legal experience spans 27 years in various fields of law, including corporate counsel positions in the defense, telecommunications, and retail industries; trial attorney and administrative judge for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; Counsel, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee; arbitrator panel member for U.S. Postal Service, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and NASD/FINRA; Municipal Court Judge, City of Dallas; as well as private law practice involving personal injury, commercial transactions/litigation and employment disputes.
It is a great privilege and honor to serve the citizens of Dallas County as Judge of the 101st District Court.
