At the Citizens’ Civil Academy, our mission is clear: to educate and empower the citizens of Dallas County by providing a comprehensive understanding of the civil court system. Founded by Judge Staci Williams, our Academy is dedicated to giving you the tools and knowledge you need to navigate the complexities of the civil court process with confidence.
Our goal is simple but impactful—through education, we aim to demystify the inner workings of the George L. Allen, Sr. Courts Building and the civil court system at large. With greater understanding comes greater participation, especially in the jury process, a critical component of our justice system.
We believe that an informed citizenry is key to a more just and equitable society. As you gain insight into how the civil courts function, you will be encouraged to take an active role in the jury process, helping to shape the outcomes that impact our community.
